License Training and Use Your Own LMS

Overview

Gamma Compliance training courses can be packaged in SCORM modules for easy uploading into your learning management system (LMS) or training environment. This allows you to build your own compliance courses easily without needing to develop any content yourself.

Easy Updates

During the licensing term, we provide you with complimentary updates to the training content. This includes both regulatory updates and course enhancements and saves you the time and effort of having to manage regulatory change.

Access to Experts

During the licensing term, Gamma Compliance is available to answer any regulatory questions on the subject matter licensed or technical questions on building and deploying training within your LMS.

Who is this for?

This solution is designed for organizations with 100+ users that need scalable, centralized compliance training. It’s especially well-suited for multi-location groups, DSOs, MSOs, VSOs, hospital systems, and growing healthcare organizations that want greater control over reporting, user management, and training deployment.

If your organization manages a large team, frequent onboarding, or multiple sites, this model provides the structure and flexibility needed to administer compliance training efficiently at scale.

For smaller teams (under 100 users), our standard online training platform is typically the most streamlined and cost-effective option.

FAQs

1. What is SCORM?

  • All of our Training Courses are published and provided to you as SCORM Packages. SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) is an international standard for digital learning and e-courses. This ensures that almost any learning management system (LMS) will recognize it as long as the LMS supports SCORM.
  • A SCORM package (also referred to as a SCORM course or a SCORM module) is a ZIP file that contains specific contents defined by the SCORM standard. It is known as a Package Interchange File (PIF) and has all the data needed to transfer learning content to an LMS.

2. How do you add a SCORM course to your LMS?

  • As long as your LMS supports SCORM, you can upload Gamma SCORM packages to your LMS. Check your LMS documentation for details and to learn how to import SCORM files. The process can vary from one LMS to another.

3. Can I edit a SCORM course?

  • You cannot edit or reverse-engineer a published SCORM course. If you would like to edit training content, please contact us so we can determine whether we’re able to make those changes for you before files are published.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About LMS Licensing

What is SCORM?

SCORM is a common e-learning standard that allows online course packages to be uploaded into compatible learning management systems.

Can we edit the SCORM courses?

Published SCORM courses cannot be edited or reverse-engineered. If you need content changes, contact us before files are published so we can review the request.

How do updates work?

Gamma maintains the licensed training content during the licensing term. In most implementations, updates are delivered through the hosted course link, so your team does not need to manually replace SCORM packages each time content is refreshed.

What if we do not have an LMS?

If you do not already use an LMS, Gamma’s hosted training platform or a dedicated training subplatform may be a better fit.

Need Gamma to Host Training Instead?

Compare Licensing With a Dedicated Training Subplatform

LMS licensing is best when you already have a learning management system. If you want Gamma to host training for your organization, customize the learner experience, support managers, and centralize reporting, a dedicated training subplatform may be the better option.

Dedicated Gamma Subplatform
